- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I have been in the process of trying to get a home loan through this US Bank location. They are easy to work with at first, but then once I started actually securing the loan, communication became poor, and the number of mistakes have become high. Our loan just got delayed two more weeks because the mortgage officer forgot something (what type of loan we were getting). We're supposed to be closing in about two and a half weeks, but instead we are re-starting the mortgage process. Not recommended. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I had several bad experiences here that pushed me to switch. Never left a review before but this I felt was far beyond wrong that I must warn people. I got married and decided to close my checking account with usbank and open a new one with my spouse at usbank. A month later I get a fee for having $0 in an account. I went to the bank to ask what the fee was about, they told me the account was never fully closed someone must of made a mistake. I said ok can we please close the account and they told me not till I pay the fee for having $0 in the account. I was forced to pay the fee. after paying the fee I thought the problem was fixed and later I get another letter saying I have to pay a fee again because the second time I went in to close the account it did not get closed. They told me I had to pay or else the fee will only get bigger at this point I was very upset and told them I will be reporting this.
